Andrea Folli, b. 1988 Brescia, Italy.
In my paintings I capture landscapes and natural scenes at the limit of their appearance, often with a climate and weather feel to express things beyond the tangible, between reality and perception. A mysterious air lingers in dreamlike compositions where occasionaly human figures experience moments of love, solitude, freedom and surrounded by a colourful bright world that almost talk to them in the sparkle of a moment of empathy.
Nature is a beautiful enigma wrapped with both strange and attractive atmospheres. Trees, mountains, suns, moons and stars are lightly suspended in a time of the day that changes and transforms, nearly humanizing them.
